Pee Wee Horsemanship 101
Ages 4-9
Connecting young hearts with a horse is an amazing opportunity to explore what working with an animal is all about! Horses have so much to teach humans - and when you are younger it's gives them a sense of empowerment and creates leadership abilities at such tender ages. Our horses are patient and kind and come with loads of hours of children working with them on the ground and in the saddle.
Each horse and cowpoke has their own personal coach that will help them grow in confidence in a safe environment. This establishes the best of memories that can be built on in their lifetime and will overflow into their everyday activities!
Skills that are worked on include working safely with a horse, bonding, brushing and helping their coach put the blanket and saddle on. In the saddle we work on our balance and posture through songs and games which keeps young riders' focus and creates a fun environment to learn even harder skills!
Session 1 - Sept. 13, 20, 27 12:00 - 1:00 pm

Little Britches
aGES 6-9
If your cowpoke can’t get enough of horses and is ready for more after attending a Ranch Camp, or several months of Pee Wee classes this is the special class designed exactly for them - learning while having fun on the back of our horse is what it's all about! We have designed this Fall session to be jam packed with horse crazy ideas that will let your cowpoke get their horse ‘fix’ for the week.
We’ll also have the chance to head out on trail and ride through the prairies as we head to the banks of the South Sask. River for some beautiful Fall rides and check out the the beauty of leaves changing as we head into a new season.

No class on Sat. Oct. 11 - Thanksgiving weekend

(Payable in four installments of $247.50 in Sept. - Dec. 2025)
Personal coaches for those that are aged 6 & 7
and two riders to one coach for those that are aged 8 & 9.

Step One: First of All, THANK YOU for considering beginning or continuing your horse journey with us! We are honored for the chance to work with you or the cowpokes in your family. Please email me, Bonnie, at sandhillsstable4@aol.com to save a space in the session of your choice or to discuss what class might be the best fit for your cowpoke.
Step Two: A nonrefundable deposit of $75.00 can be etranferred to secure your registration. The deposit will go towards the overall fees of the session. The above email address can be used for etransfer.
Step Three: If your child is new to our programs you will be sent a link to fill out a registration and release form. An info pack via your cell phone number will be sent and includes all the details concerning what to wear, what to expect and family and friend viewing areas. We do have certified helmets that can be used but strongly recommend buying your child their own helmet for longer term lesson commitments.
Step Four: If you and your family have not been to our facility before, we would love to arrange a time for you to come out, be able to meet some of the coaches and let us show you around!
